I am on the west coast and contacted Ted about a problem that I was experiencing with a competing service in a nearby town. I had paid with them to pick up a scientific instrument that I bought at auction and pack and ship for me. They picked up as planned, but did not ship when they told me they would. When they did not return my phone calls or e-mails, out of frustration, I asked Ted, owner of The Shipping Place, to call them and arrange to pick it up and ship it to me. Ted called me back and told me that they would not return his calls either. His calls must have gotten their attention. They shipped it to me the next day which was 3 weeks after the pickup date.
