Shipping Place & More is an independently owned and operated packing, shipping, printing, and business services center serving residents and businesses in and surrounding Hyde Park, NY. We are part of the Hyde Park, NY, community ourselves. We are the area’s only true pack and ship store capable of handling all your packing and shipping needs. We handle all items that can be legally shipped, even those that are fragile, large, awkward, or valuable.

In addition to our packaging and ship service, our shop is also the area's premier copy, print and document services center. As an independent shipping provider, we offer our clients something the big box stores can’t: choices. We can ship items via UPS, FedEx, DHL, the US Postal Service, and even freight. There is no need to wonder whether you are making the right choice of carrier and service when sending a letter or package through Shipping Place & More.
As an authorized FedEx, USPS, DHL, and UPS store, we maintain excellent relationships with our industry partners and offer competitive UPS, DHL, and FedEx shipping rates. For international shipping, our expert staff will sort through the complicated maze of customs regulations to determine the best options to meet your specific shipping needs and budget. We have daily pick up during store hours from all the major carriers to speed your package on its way.
Freight shipping business
Need to ship furniture or machinery over 150 pounds? Not a problem! At Shipping Place & More we are trained and equipped to pack and ship heavy freight items that don't qualify for small package carriers such as FedEx. You can bring large items to our facility or ask us to come and pick them up at your location. We work with over 25 freight carriers to find just the right match for your specific freight shipping challenge. Package tracking
Package tracking has been one of our "featured products" for years. When you mail or ship your package with us, we give you the tracking number so it is easy to keep track of your shipments right here on our website. Simply enter the shipment tracking number to receive up-to-date status and delivery confirmation for your valuable and time-sensitive letters and packages. Our system tracks all packages sent via FedEx, DHL, UPS, and USPS —easy, fast, and accurate.

As an independent business owner, our founder had a vision for a service-oriented small business as a young man -- and he still works hard to ensure that his team shares that focus. We don't have hundreds of locations: just one at 3979 Albany Post Road in Hyde Park.
