Ebony
Greeter & Drug Enforcement

Ebony is a full blooded Labrador Retriever and joined the Shipping Place & More staff in 2013, at the age of 8 weeks old (child labor laws may have been skirted a little here). She is everyone's friend and loves to greet the customers. Her favorite activities include swimming, running, chewing and carrying sticks, chasing balls (and playing keep away from you) and long walks in the woods.

Ted
Owner

Shipping Place & More Ted Timmons, the owner of Shipping Place & More, grew up in central Indiana. He served in the US Marine Corps from 1974 to 1978. After completing his tour with an honorable discharge, Ted attended Purdue University, graduating with a BS in Computer Technology. He then worked as a programmer until he decided to become a business owner in 1998 and started Shipping Place & More. Once he had made the transition from his first career, Ted dedicated himself fully to running a top-notch shipping business and providing the best possible service to his customers. To this day, he spends several weeks each year on his own professional development, attending conventions and training sessions to keep informed of the latest shipping and packing innovations, rules, and best practices. Looking back on his time in the Marine Corps, Ted will tell you it was a unique experience which has served him well ever since. The Marine Corps motto is Semper Fidelis, or in Marine terms Semper Fi, which in Latin means Always Faithful. Ted believes you should always be faithful to yourself, your family, friends, customers, and business associates. He understands honesty is the key to real success in all areas of life and business.
